Dickens Yard in Ealing is the venue for Kumon’s flagship centre
Kumon Europe and Africa, the UK and Ireland’s largest supplementary education provider, have officially opened its new flagship study centre in Ealing, Dickens Yard. The Worshipful the Mayor and the Mayoress of the London Borough of Ealing cut the ribbon, kindly assisted by young Kumon students.
Guests included parents, children and students from other local Kumon study centres, members of Ealing Council, local schools and businesses. St George, the developers behind the Dickens Yard development were also there to join in the fun.
Maths and English help
The study centre offers children the opportunity to develop their maths and English skills through a daily study programme of individualised worksheets and centre visits up to twice a week. The flagship centre in Ealing is one of more than 250 Kumon maths and English centres across London. In the UK and Ireland, more than 70,000 children of all ages and abilities study the Kumon Method of Learning, which also celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
