A week of family adventure activities and workshops at The London Wetland Centre this February Half-Term.

This half-term, the London Wetland Centre will be providing a range of adventure activities and workshops for the whole family to enjoy. All events take place between 12 to 20 February 2022.

Mud Kitchen

The Mud Kitchen is a free-play activity that provides a healthy dollop of mud, pots & pans, and all the utensils children need to cook up a muddy cuisine classic.

Adventure Workshop

Children will learn how to build secret dens, safely light fires and tie the right knot in any survival situation. And finally, they’ll get to round off the event by toasting some delicious marshmallows around the campfire.

Tracks &Trails

They’ll get to track freshly-made animal footprints, build tunnels and explore the nocturnal habits of the wetlands’ mammal life.

Map Challenge

There’s a mix of map reading, orienteering, and riddles to keep them engaged and hone those exploration and orienteering skills.
