For a fun, family day out, pick up a basket and join these Easter hunts and trails in the capital
The Easter bunny’s popularity seems to grow each year and he’ll be making some seasonal appearances at Easter egg hunts across London soon enough. All you need is a basket, some stamina, patience and good humour and you’re on for a cracking day out!
All aboard the Easter Express for the longest Easter Egg Hunt in Essex. Find all the eggs that the Easter Bunny has hidden all along the line. Running the length of the railway track, from Ongar through to Coopersale, the distance covered is equivalent to 131,579 eggs placed end to end! You’ll need to hop on and off our steam and diesel trains to find them all!
Head to Peckham Levels for an Easter Egg Hunt around the foyer of Level 5 & 6. Whether you’re seeking a traditional Easter egg hunt or Easter trail, there’ll have something for the kids to go home with.
Daily from 11:00 to 14:00, Friday 15th to Sunday 17th
Explore the site to hunt for clues and challenges, and discover traditional Easter games like egg and spoon races. Track down the Easter eggs and you’ll be rewarded with a chocolate treat and an adventurer’s certificate.
The quest costs just £1.50, which you can pay when you arrive at the site. This is in addition to the normal ticket price.

The Easter Bunny will be visiting Sunken Garden of Cannizaro Park for an egg hunt.
There will be lots of fun and chocolates for the kids, and refreshments available to purchase from our takeaway van for the whole family.
All the money made from the tickets will be donated to a selected kid’s charity to help children in need.
Tickets £5 and include a soft drink, the hunt and a donation to charity.
Takes place every day of the bank holiday weekend. With eggs, chocolate and old-fashioned fun, it’s the perfect way to get out and about in history this Easter.

Tackle nature themed challenges as part of the Easter adventures in nature trail, exploring this former deer park and urban oasis in south London.
6-18 April 10am-4pm each day, £3 per trail, parking charges apply after 2 hours to non-members.
Quack the codes and find the yellow ducks hidden amongst the real wild fowl. You may also spot resident otters on your way round. Discover more in the Pond Zone, where the underwater life provides a whole new level of discovery. Grab a net and discover what creatures live in our ponds .

Use the trail map to explore the palace gardens and find the Lindt GOLD BUNNY statues that are hiding there. With each Lindt GOLD BUNNY you find, a fascinating story will be revealed about that important palace character. When you have finished, you can collect a Lindt GOLD BUNNY (10g) chocolate* reward.
2nd to 18th April
It’s choc-o-bloc with family fun at Willows Activity Farm during their Easter Eggstravaganza! The Easter Egg Hunt with a chocolate prize, Easter Grotto, adorable animals including bunnies and chicks, brand NEW shows, funfair rides, adventure play and more – ALL included in the admission price.
Peter Rabbit and Friends will be there every day too with egg-stra special shows and meet and greets.
Join the fantastic Easter Egg Trail where you meet Mother Goose, attend Bunny Academy and have fun with the Easter Bunny and Chocolatier.
Of course they’ll still be all the farm favourites, meeting the animals, bouncy pillows and adventure play.
