Don’t let January be an anticlimax to Christmas. Keep the celebrations going and ring in 2023 with some fab family dates in the diary. Here are 20 of our favourite things to do in and around London in January.


Take a journey to an enchanted kingdom with The Royal Ballet’s production of Sleeping Beauty, with all the wonder and magic you’d expect from the beloved fairytale. (Jan 16 to Jun 6)

Canary Wharf will be transformed by over 20 light installations as the award-winning Winter Lights returns for its seventh year. (Jan 18 to 28) 


Join the Royal Albert Hall’s storytellers for music sessions which encourage interaction between parents and their little ones, using musical instruments, singing, movement and stories. (Jan 25 to Mar 16)
