The SS23 collection from organic zoo sees the brand’s first skirts and the humble tomato taking centre stage

Sunshine and warmth is a long time coming but a few rays of sunshine have got us looking at SS23’s collections. organic zoo is inspired by a Mediterranean life, the kind we enjoy on holiday with fun, food and friends at the forefront.

There’s no more Mediterranean ingredient than a juicy, ripe tomato, so you’ll find this ingredient popping up in prints across the collection including classic tees, rope shorts and sweatshirts.

The colour palate and prints are tastefully muted, adorning organic French terry cotton. Baby rompers and sleeveless bodysuits in soft jersey organic cotton make for easy outfits.

New for this season, organic zoo has created skirts with the fluid Tutti style. Pockets and an elasticated waistband provide all-day comfort. There are a trio of options: plain Honey and Gold Dots, crafted from organic muslin; and Olive Gingham in woven organic cotton – reminiscent of rustic Italian tablecloths.

Founded in 2010, organic zoo is a spirited British brand that marries covetable design with a commitment to fair trade and the environment. It prides itself on manufacturing its collections in Europe using only 100% organic cotton and toxic-free, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified dyes. The label’s signature minimalist style is non-seasonal and ideal for dressing newborn boys and girls alike, as well as for handing down. The brand’s ethical conscience also extends to its packaging, favouring plain mailing bags made from recycled sources over unnecessary tissue, card and paper to wrap its goods.
