Curriculum

The curriculum is designed around pupils, not simply timetables. With 90-minute lessons and a three-year GCSE programme, students are given time to think deeply, debate boldly and explore subjects in depth. Sixth Form students choose from A Levels and BTECs, supported by exceptional pastoral guidance and a strong university and careers programme.

Pastoral care is central to school life. Every pupil belongs to a Vertical Tutor Group and is supported by a Personal Tutor throughout their journey. An open-door policy encourages close partnership with families, while initiatives such as phone-free school days and the Gardener Award programme nurture independence, leadership and wellbeing.

Beyond the classroom, pupils thrive across sport, drama, music, art and design, supported by outstanding facilities including Trailfinders Sports Club, Quintin Boat Club and specialist creative spaces.
