Cass is a boy who finds real life tricky. Luckily, he can take refuge in his imagination – a place where stories burst out effortlessly.

Inspired by tales from Shakespeare, read to him by his Gran, Cass and his band of imaginary friends have fought with kings, flown with witches, faced shipwrecks, ghosts and monsters, and dived into adventures of every kind.

But something is going wrong. The stories have stopped making sense, the adventures aren’t adventurous, and there is also a strange darkness is creeping in. Finding himself lost in a Shakespearean Shadow Land, Cass must work out if he’s in a tragedy like Hamlet, a Comedy of his own Errors, or even another world altogether?  Wherever he is, escaping is going to be a whole other story.

Bring all the family together for this funny, moving, and gloriously inventive celebration of storytelling, and revel in the worlds waiting to be told.
