This Christmas, head to North London for a festive family adventure at Ally Pally.

Horrible Histories brings the tale of Christmas to life in the Victorian Theatre, featuring Charles Dickens, King Henry VIII, and more. Enjoy festive lights, decorations, a pop-up Waterstones bookshop and carol singing (schools 4 & 5 December, adults 7 & 14 December) in the East Court. You can also visit Santa’s Grotto for gifts and photos.

The Ice Rink will sparkle with a Christmas tree, music, and snow. Don’t miss the annual pantomime The Wizard of Oz on Ice. And of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas at Ally Pally without the raucous World Darts Championships taking over the west side of the Palace!

Alexandra Palace opened in 1873, originally designed as the ‘People’s Palace’. It had the intended purpose of providing entertainment and recreation for the masses. Today the Park and Palace are run by a charity – the Alexandra Park and Palace Charitable Trust. They continue this mission by hosting a packed programme of live music, sport, theatre, comedy as well as exhibitions.
