This show is performed by Swallow’s Wings Puppetry who are a London-based grassroots puppet company. They aim to empower people of all ages with a love and reverence for African-Caribbean culture and history. They have collaborated with cultural organisations including Tate Britain, Manchester Royal Exchange, Eden Project, Somerset House, and the V&A.

The “Anansi” stories are humorous, lively, and community-led stories that traveled with enslaved African people to the Caribbean and then to the UK with the Windrush generation. They are part of our multicultural British heritage and have a universal appeal to all people.
