On Saturday, 30th November, 7th & 14th December, drop-in arts and crafts activities will take place in the Mail Rail Depot. Visitors can try their hand at lino printing, inspired by David Gentleman’s ‘12 Days of Christmas’ stamps from 1977. Whether you want to recreate a partridge in a pear tree, five gold rings, or something of your own unique design, you’ll be able to craft a print to use over and over to make your own pictures and cards.
Activities take place in the Mail Rail Depot and are included in museum admission and are best suited for ages 5-11, but all ages are welcome. Places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis in the Mail Rail Depot and children must be accompanied by an adult.
