Rave with Big Fish Little Fish as they celebrate their 10th birthday as well as 150 years of iconic venue, Alexandra Palace.
Saturday 27 May at Ally Pally
It’s time to celebrate in style! The Great Big Birthday Bash at Ally Pally celebrates 150 years of the iconic venue and BFLF‘s 10th birthday (we’ll pass on the birthday bumps for Ally Pally).
Expect partying in the magnificent West Hall with an astro turf dancefloor and giant tree, creating a surreal outdoor vibe but with the guarantee that it’s going to stay dry.
Get ready to dance under fairy light festoons and rave to the selections of DJs Mark XTC and Toshiki Ohta.
Bring your little ones to the Nifty Natty craft area for some creative fun, test your knowledge at the Bring Your Baby pub quiz, and enjoy readings and signings by author Uju Asika.
The rough and tumble play area is perfect for little ones to let off some steam, while the facepainting stall from Doxa Faces (there is an extra charge for face-painting and it can only be done on kids over the age of 2 years) will transform them in wild and wonderful ways!
And of course, there’ll be more foam, bubbles, streamers and giant balloons than you can shake a stick at, and even an extra parachute to make this party unforgettable. With a buggy park and baby change inside the event, you can relax and enjoy the festivities.
Don’t forget to grab a drink at the licensed bar and join a birthday party to remember!
More info from organisers:
Since 2013 Big Fish Little Fish have brought raving to the family massive.
An independent, grassroots music and events crew of seasoned ravers and parents that put on family raves with all the freedom and excitement of a mini-festival, right in the heart of cities and towns across the UK.
Drawing on experience as ravers and parents the BFLF crew create anarchic, social, daft fun for all ages. Inspired by Hannah’s (the founder) lifelong love of clubbing and her family’s enjoyment of festivals. BFLF is something we want to take our own families to – somewhere relaxed, entertaining, and where the adults enjoy themselves as much as the children and vice versa with grandparents, uncles, aunts and carers all in the mix.
Parties are held in interesting and quirky venues; clubs, arts spaces, festivals, woods and pubs, which help create the ambience of being at a real rave.
