Bloomsbury Festival is in its 18th year and there are lots of events planned for children and families.
There are over 100 events from the worlds of culture, science, literature and the arts. The theme of 2023’s festival is ‘Grow’, which covers issues relating to the environment and society. It offers a focus on development opportunities for emerging talent and underrepresented voices.
Family events include:
- Discovery Hub at Holborn Library – mix of science and creativity which includes VR headsets, avocado sculptures and a stall about eyes.
- Walks – educational and entertainment walks for all ages including a walk about witches.
- Theatre – shows about a number of topics including an interactive trip through the galaxy and a journey to find a mythical bird in English, Bengali and Hindu.
- Music – a showcase of young musical talent inspired by Black History Month.
