Family events include:

• Join the October Gallery for a free fun-filled Family Art Day (19 October). Explore the exhibition through a series of games then get hands-on with some making inspired by the artworks around you.
• Holborn Library will host workshops, talks and activities for families and children at this year’s Discovery Day (26 October). A Deep Dive into the theme ‘Human.Kind’, a family science and creative day with craft, workshops and storytelling. Build your Lego Dream City, design your own cleaner streets, hone your origami skills and learn about neurodivergence and kindness.
• Story and Rhyme Time (18 & 25 October) perfect for children aged 5 and under, a magical session with enchanting stories, fun rhymes, and playful songs that will spark your child’s imagination and love for reading.

Bloomsbury Festival’s family programme will open with a daytime outdoor event, Cromer Street & Bramber Green Family Day (19 October) including performance, activities, and street food. With busking, music and performances hosted by Camden New Journal, crafts and children’s activities as well as a public open singing workshop at Holy Cross Church, the event will kick off the family programme with something for everyone.
