More information from organisers:
Set in a stunning forest location, just 40 minutes on the train from London, Camp Kindling fuses the experience of a family festival with an activity-packed summer camp, bringing all generations together in an immersive weekend of adventure, music and life-affirming inspiration.
By participating in activities, families can not only learn new skills, but also earn points for their chosen Patrol: Squirrel, Badger, Hawk or Fox. At the end of the weekend, campers cheer on as Patrols compete in epic Games to determine who will be awarded this year’s Kindling Cup.
Activities:
2022’s activities programme has something for everyone, ranging from adventure activities such as Mountain Biking, Axe Throwing, Zorbing, Nerf Battles, Tree Climbing, Orienteering and Survival Skills through to Astronomy, Campfire Bread Baking, Primitive Pottery, Loom Weaving, Sand Art, Wood Whittling, Improv Comedy, Woodland Choir and Yoga.
And the fun doesn’t stop there! Every night, after dark, the Camp transforms into a magical forest festival. This year’s music lineup will include The Cuban Brothers, Rylan (DJ), family rave unit Junior Jungle, BBC’s YolanDa’s Band Jam and CBeebies’ Nick Cope.
The Auditorium will also host an inspiring programme of talks and late-night comedy. There will also be bedtime stories for younger campers.
Meanwhile, adults can book on-site childcare and check in to The Sanctuary, a woodland haven providing wellness treatments and wood-fired hot tubs set against the backdrop of a stunning Pinetum.
Camp Kindling offers a delicious range of street food, as well as a fully stocked bar for the adults.
