The Cats exhibition at the Cartoon Museum explores our relationship with cats and why many people love them so much.

When: April 5 to September 28. Open Tuesday to Saturday at 10:30am to 5:30pm. Sunday at 12.00pm to 4pm. Museum is closed on Mondays. The last Thursday of every month has late closing at 8pm.

Ticket price: Included with ticket. Adult £12. Concession (over 60 y/o) £8. Student, Museums Association £5. Universal Credit recipients | £3. Each ticket is valid from the day of entry for one calendar year. Please retain proof of purchase to be able to visit the Museum as many times as you wish within the year.

Cats at the Cartoon Museum explores why people love cats so much and what cats tell us about life.

From Garfield to Simon’s Cat, Krazy Kat to Bagpuss and everything in between, there is a long line of iconic cartoon cats. For the first time, The Cartoon Museum is collecting many of the greatest cats to grace or comics, newspapers and magazines .

Featuring works by artists such as Louis Wain, Ronald Searle, Heath Robinson, Wendy Eastwood, Simon Tofield,  Anthony Smith, Gemma Correll, Natty Peterkin and Hunt Emerson – and more.
