Experience the heights of London’s iconic Cutty Sark at the Rig Climb Experience. Climb the rigging like a member of the crew and enjoy the views from atop the mast, before taking a zip line back down to the ground. 

Starting with a briefing underneath the ship’s beautiful hull, those brave enough to take on the challenge will step up from the Main Deck on to the ship’s ‘ratlines’ (rope ladders).

From here you can make your way up into the rigging, just as hundreds of sailors did during Cutty Sark’s long and fabled career at sea.

Once at the summit or ‘Tops Platform’, you can take in a tremendous view across the city and down below to the deck of this historic ship. If you’ve booked a Plus experience, and you have a head for heights, you can climb even higher.

The time taken to climb will depend on the speed of each individual. Organisers recommend allowing up to an hour to enjoy the whole experience.

Your ticket will also include general admission to Cutty Sark on the same day, so be sure you give yourself enough time to enjoy the ship before or after your climb.
