At the Royal Academy’s Family Studio Cardboard Figures be inspired by the practice of Lubaina Himid RA, and work with artist Amy Leung to create small and large-scale figures that tell a story about you.

The family studio programme is a series of monthly art-making workshops that are drop-in and open to families with children of all ages. 

Due to the popularity of these workshops, the gallery cannot guarantee a space for everyone on arrival and you may be asked to wait a short while. However they have found that the afternoon session is often quieter. There are Art Detectives activity packs, which are available for queuing families to use around the Royal Academy.
