Set against the backdrop of a medieval church, be guided by storytellers through a secret magical world at the Festival of Fairytales. Get up close with bugs and butterflies, discover pop-up workshops and circus performances and sample an insect feast BBQ.

In summer 2022, the Garden Museum will once again be transformed into a wonderland of circus, storytelling, and magi for the Festival of Fairytales.
TThe new event, set against the backdrop of the Garden Museum’s home of a medieval church. Be guided by performers through the secret world of the garden and get up close with bugs, bumble bees and butterflies.
Children will be free to explore the Museum and discover pop-up performers, craft workshops, storytelling, music and circus performances.
The Garden Café will host a BBQ in the gardens and the chefs have cooked up an insect feast of crickets, ants and snails!
The dress code is mini beasts!
