FESTIVAL OF THE GIRL
The online Festival of the Girl sets out to redefine girl power and celebrate girls’ brilliant bodies.
This year’s theme is to change girls’ perceptions of their bodies and appreciate them for what they do, rather than how they are seen.
The free virtual festival will feature workshops and talks on sports, body image, physical careers and activities like beatboxing and coding.
The event will go live at 10am on Sunday October 10th. It is then accessible for the whole of October. There will be around 50 videos to watch across 6 virtual tents. Find out more and sign up here.
Festival of the Girl is a not-for profit initiative that aims to inspire and educate girls aged 7-11 years and support adults to raise girls in a less stereotyped way.
