Banish half term boredom at a Foundling Museum May Half-Term creative family workshop.

When: May 30 to June 2. Workshops run from 11am-1pm and 2pm-4pm

Where: Foundling Museum

Age: Families with children aged 5-12.

Ticket price: From £3. Free golden tickets are available for local residents, families in receipt of Pension Credit, Universal Credit, Income Support, Personal Independence Payment and Job Seekers Allowance.

Tuesday 30 May

Clay Coil Pots

Create a clay coil pot and put your own personal stamp on it by designing a logo inspired by the emblem on the Foundling Hospital’s crockery. This workshop will be led by artist Gayle Chong Kwan and our Tracing our Tales trainees.

Wednesday 31 May

Sculpture Banquet

What flavours make up a family? Join artist Amy Leung to draw, sculpt and construct imaginary and playful meals that celebrate family. Then come together with other families to create a huge sculptural installation.

Thursday 1 June

Textile Tapestries

Connect and collaborate with other families to create a tapestry inspired by our Finding Families exhibition in this textile workshop led by artist Charlene Sandy.

Friday 2 June

Giant Paper People

Create a giant installation of paper people using huge cardboard cut outs inspired by your family in this fun, experimental workshop led by artist Laura X Carle.
