Glow Marwell transforms Marwell Zoo into an illuminated winter wonderland full of twinkling lights. Over 250,000 LEDs light up the grounds, providing ample photo opportunities and cosy memories. Festive treats are dotted throughout the grounds, making it one Christmas to remember!

Join Marwell Zoo for a light extravaganza as the grounds become a wonderland of lights, magic and delight.

Glow Marwell invites guests to explore the zoo in a new light with more than 250,000 LED bulbs making up the illuminations.

Full of gently glowing displays as well as spots for reflection, this light event promises an uplifting evening of festive delights. Along the route there are winter warming catering with plenty of seasonal treats including marshmallow toasting round cosy firepits.

Glow Marwell will be a magical experience full of wonder that families will remember for years to come!

In order to ensure the welfare of the animals, guests can not bring torches or lights of any kind. 

The displays included in the Glow Marwell event have also been carefully designed to ensure they don’t disturb any animals.
