Push the boat out at Tower Bridge’s family activity Junk Model Flotilla, and help celebrate their 131st birthday.

When: June 14 (family activities runs on occasional Saturdays and holidays with different theme each time) 10am to 4pm

Where: Open to all ages but best for ages 6 to 10.

Age: Tower Bridge (Learning Space)

Ticket price: Included with entry ticket and drop in session, no need to book. Children must be accompanied with an adult at all times.

Junk Model Flotilla: Opening Day Reimagined

Push the boat out at our family activities this month and help us celebrate Tower Bridge’s 131^st birthday. On 30 June 1894 – when Tower Bridge first opened for ships – a flotilla of boats lined up on the River Thames, waiting to be the first vessel through the Bridge’s breathtaking bascules. Help reimagine this scene at the drop-in sessions on Saturday 14 June by using recycled materials to create a fleet of ships. 

You can also earn a Family Activities Pass at the session, where you can return for free within the next six months. You can then take part in the activities again at next session.
