Get creative together at this Make it: Trinket Tray family workshop, inspired by the Marie Antoinette Style exhibition and the playful elegance of the Rococo period. Hosted at Young V&A, families will explore colour, texture and form while learning how to hand-build porcelain clay trinket boxes or trays to decorate and treasure.

With guidance from the Make its team, children and adults will experiment using coloured clay and slips, trying out techniques such as sponging, stencilling, painting and piping. No previous experience is needed and all materials are provided. Finished pieces will be fired and glazed by the museum and ready to collect at a later date.
