Family Activity: make your own paint (with plants!)

Join the Garden to learn about plants that are used to make dyes, paints, and pigments.

You will learn to make your own paint using plants in this child-friendly workshop and test your concoctions on different types of paper to discover your prize-winning recipe.

All materials will be provided

Tickets are £20 for an adult and £15 per child and includes your entry to the Garden that day. You need to purchase tickets for everyone attending the workshop, and children much be accompanied by at least one event ticket-holding adult.

Workshops last one hour and you are welcome to spend the whole day at the Garden.

Please note:

One person will be admitted per ticket and each participant will have the opportunity to make one set of paints

Children must hold tickets and be accompanied by at least one an event ticket-holding adult

There is no discount for Friends of the Garden
