More information from organisers:

Explore the microscopic networks that link us with plant and animal life. Combine woodworking and weaving to create your own vibrant artworks mapping out the amazing garden ecosystem. Then harness the power of printmaking to share a powerful message promoting kindness to nature, using natural dye inks and materials from the garden.

Mapping Microcosms with Nihal J. Singh | 10.30am – 3.30pm in the Studio

Get up close with the natural world with artist and maker Nihal Singh. Hammer and weave your own colourful wooden board exploring the connecting lines and patterns seen in microscopic forms. Families will also be invited to interact with our symbiotic play space, including a large-scale weaving wall.

Natural Dye Printing with Kim Chin | 10.30am – 3.30pm in the Learning Pavilion
