The May Half Term is fast approaching but you are covered at the Postal Museum. Create your own sensory story, using exhibits from the collection for inspiration, or take part in The Jolly Postman Storytelling Show full of rhyme and song.

The museum itself is full of fun exhibitions, and the Mail Rail is always an adventure. Just for the half term, the Postal museum is also running special crafts and storytelling sessions.

The Postal Museum has the following sessions running, all available on a first come first serve basis to museum ticket holders:

Create Your Own Sensory Story: Arts & Crafts

28, 29, May / 11:00 – 16:00
Mail Rail Depot
Recommended for ages 5 – 8

Create your own sensory story in a drop-in arts and crafts activity inspired by the incredible objects, stories and people in the museum.

The Jolly Postman Storytelling Show

Wednesday 1 June
11:30 – 12:15 and 13:30 – 14:15

Best for ages 3-7 and families

Can you help The Jolly Postman collect, sort and deliver post for familiar fairy tale characters? Send and receive letters, parcels and postcards in this lively and humorous storytelling session and help bring the book to life through song and rhyme.
