Where: Wakehurst, Sussex. Starting point: Millennium Seed Bank. Trail heads through Bethlehem, Coates and Pearcelands Woodlands.

Get ready for an exciting adventure this October half term. Wakehurst is set to launch the Nature Heroes Academy in collaboration with National Geographic Kids.

Seek, spy, spot and sense your way through interactive activities as you journey across Wakehurst’s woodlands to find a seed, just like Kew’s scientists do out in the wild! 

Learn more about the fascinating world of seed science in the home of the Millennium Seed Bank – which houses 2.4 billion seeds from across the world!

The first mission of the Nature Heroes Academy, join next October to earn the second Academy badge, and come back every school holiday for another fun Nature Heroes mission, earning a new badge for your Nature Heroes cape each time.

Children must be accompanied by an adult.
