Channel your inner designer this October Half Term at the Postal Museum with an inventive family programme designed to unleash new ideas.

Greeting cards have been used for centuries, from ancient Chinese New Year cards to the first commercial Christmas cards in the 1800s. They are a special way to mark important occasions and stay in touch with people you care about.

Join the museum for a fun family arts and crafts activity inspired by the designs of Georgina Fihosy, founder of AfroTouch Design. Georgina’s greeting cards celebrate West African culture, using fabrics and patterns that make each card unique.

In this activity, you can get creative and design your own greeting card using a variety of arts and crafts materials – whether it’s a birthday, a thank you or just because.
