What might London have looked like with centurions on every corner? Or an amphitheatre full of gladiators? Take the Roman London Family Quest, and learn more about our Roman past, as well as what life was like 1900 years ago! Get your map ready and make your way to three different sites where you can complete a host of activities in order to win prizes! The London Mithraeum, Amphitheatre, and Bank of England have collaborated for a comprehensive day of activities and exploration.

Did you know there are parts of Roman London that you can still see in the City of London today? Go back in time to AD 122 and experience the city as Hadrian saw it 1900 years ago this year! During this exciting family day you’ll visit three unique sites to enjoy creative family activities and learn what Hadrian might has seen, heard and smelt. 

This event is a collaboration between London Mithraeum Bloomberg SPACE, London’s Roman Amphitheatre and the Bank of England Museum. 

Choose your starting point and follow the map provided. Visit all three sites and complete your quests to win prizes along the way. Look out for a Centurion who will ensure you are marching correctly to your destination!
