More information from organisers:

Join us in the learning studio kitchen for a hands on cooking workshop to explore some of the produce that would have been grow in the kitchen gardens of Misselthwaite Manor – the setting for Frances Hodgson Burnett’s The Secret Garden.

Each of our special summer holiday Secret Garden Cooking Workshops aims to rejuvenate all participants with the same joy that the characters in the book gained from spending time in. As well as learning about the ingredients, and cooking together each class includes sharing a meal together.

Family classes are for young children (5-7 and older) old who attend with their parents. (Parents are also invited to get stuck in with the cooking).

Kids classes are for children (8-12 and older) who attend without parental supervision. Parents can drop off their children and then enjoy spending time in the Museum or Garden Cafe while we cook. We do ask parents to stay on-site for the duration of the class.
