To celebrate our waterways, the Brentford Canal Festival recognises the importance of the waterways in establishing Brentford, and to bring the community together for a day of fun where they can appreciate and enjoy life by the water.

The Brentford Canal Festival is a one day event based around the basin, the gauging lock, Brentford Lock Piazza and Market Place.

Bring the children along to the Kids Zone, which is a craft-focussed area on the square in the Butts. There will be a great range of free activities and workshops. They can try their hand at chalk carving, play some boules or even get competitive with a giant Jenga game and treasure hunt.

This is an opportunity to showcase Brentford and all it has to offer with fun for the whole family, including live music and dance, arts and crafts, water sports, food & drink. Most importantly it puts Brentford firmly on the UK Festival map.
