The Flight of Babushka Baboon tells the story of a baboon who wants to fly to the moon, using string marionettes, shadow puppets and moving poetry.

Age: 4 to 10 years old.

This show has a storyline that can be followed and enjoyed by 4 and 5 year olds, but also uses more complex ideas, language and concepts that older children and adults will get more out of. There is nothing really scary in this show but it does use dramatic music and lighting, for example the theatre will go dark during the performance which some children might find unsettling and the characters face some perils during the performance. 

Ticket price: Adult £14. Child age 2-16 £10. Concession £11.00 (Concession – Over 65, Students, Unwaged). Adult with Baby 2-24 months £14.00. There is no charge for babies, but it helps to know if you are bringing one so theatre can seat you.
