This interactive storytelling session combines a live reading of The Octonauts & the Growing Goldfish with a hands-on craft activity inspired by deep-sea bioluminescence. Children will learn fascinating ocean facts before creating their own glowing underwater card to take home.

The 

Horniman Museum and Gardens is a free, family-friendly attraction in Forest Hill, South London, known for its eclectic collections and 16.5 acres of gardens. Founded in 1901 by tea trader Frederick John Horniman, the museum was established “to bring the world to Forest Hill” and houses over 350,000 objects. In 2022, it was named the Art Fund Museum of the Year.

• Admission: Entrance to the museum and gardens is free, though tickets are required for the Aquarium, Butterfly House, and special exhibitions.
• Access: The museum is a 5–10 minute uphill walk from Forest Hill station (Windrush line) and is well-served by local buses.
• Facilities: Includes a café, gift shop, and a picnic area in the gardens.
