More information from organisers:

See over 110,000 tulip bulbs erupt in colour in the UK’s biggest display of planted tulips at The Tulip Festival.

Stroll through the palace’s courtyards and admire the blooming display pouring out of the Tudor wine fountain. Wander through the gardens to see the floating tulip vases, and see rare, historic and specialist varieties inspired by Mary II’s famous 17th century collection. After enjoying the flowers, you can also treat yourself to a coffee and cake from the cafe.

With blooming periods subject to weather, the palace’s expert gardeners predict that the displays will look their finest in mid-April. But tulip flowering periods are subject to the spring weather and are not guaranteed. Check for updates on flowering on Hampton Court Palace’s social media and website.
