Ugly Duckling is lonely and fed-up, ignored by those around her. She tries to make friends with fellow ducklings, as well as other animals, but realising she is not like them, she is left sad and alone. Follow Ugly Duckling on her journey as she overcomes her troubles and realises, in the end, that she was beautiful all along. Don’t miss Northern Ballet’s hugely popular retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s famous fairytale. Bring your little ones to experience the magic of live ballet, music and theatre.
The performance lasts about 40 minutes. There is no interval.
There are six wheelchair spaces and step-free routes to seats on the right-hand side of the auditorium only. If you have a mobility impairment, you should book tickets for the right-hand side.
