Budding veterinarians can jump into the role of a zoo vet at London Zoo’s Vets in Action, with interactive family events at a replica animal hospital.

Vets in Action activities will run from 10.30am – 12.30pm, and 1.30pm – 4pm. The first hour is for Gold members, Patrons and Fellows. Kids can step into the role of a vet at London Zoo – during a fun week of interactive family events celebrating the incredible work of the zoo’s veterinary team.
 
After arriving for work at the Zoo’s specially-recreated zoo vet centre, junior vets will be prepped with hairnets and masks before helping experts examine, diagnose and carry out treatments on soft toys, experiencing first-hand the huge variety of work carried out by the Zoo’s vets, vet nurses and zookeepers – from a monkey health check to caring for a rescued lion. 
 
Additional demonstrations and talks throughout the week will take families further inside the exciting world of the Zoo, explaining everything we do to keep our residents in tip-top condition.
