William Morris (24 March 1834 – 3 October 1896) was a revolutionary force in Victorian Britain: his work as an artist, designer, craftsman, writer and socialist dramatically changed the fashions and ideologies of the era.

The William Morris Society, founded in 1955 to share knowledge of the life and works of William Morris amongst our members and the wider public.

The William Morris Society is a registered charity.  If you are able, please make a donation to help us continue our education work, to care for our unique collection, and to preserve the legacy of William Morris. Thank you!
