More information from organisers:
In June 2022, the V&A building in Bethnal Green reaches its 150th year – it was East London’s first public museum when it opened its doors in 1872. To celebrate this milestone and to help look to the future, the V&A presents Young V&A’s Reinvent Festival, a year-long programme of 150 creative activities taking place over the months before reopening in Summer 2023.
Visit your local Idea Store libraries in support of the National Summer Reading Challenge. A mix of interactive storytelling and creative making activity devised by artist Arkem Mark Walton.
Join the Young V&A team at our outdoor play pop-up. Use large-scale play kits to construct a huge tower, a boat to sail away on, a den to hide in, or create anything you choose!
Time
June 26 (Sunday) - September 10 (Saturday)
